dying can wait.
#Awh look it’s Team TARDIS together again #Okay well kind of#One regenerated into a cute little puppy #One’s possessed by a bitchy trampoline #And the last is billions of years old and just a giant face#STILL #OT3 for life
Did you notice that both 10 and 11 had that same philosophy when they thought they were going to die? They both went “Not today.” Only when they’d finally accepted the fact it was either die or watch your best friend’s grandfather die a needless, pointless, stupid death or decided that you could do thousands of ridiculous, amazing, hilarious things but slowly realise death was an inevitable fact of life and even your oldest, dearest friend since your 2nd regeneration would die eventually and you couldn’t stop that…
The Face of Boe (Jack) probably got the Doctor’s philosophy from him… and had to quote it to him because he’s so proud of how the Doctor conquered his failings (his terror of dying) because he knew it was right to die if it meant saving just a sweet, kind old man from dying what looked like a terrible, painful death or saving the entire world or even just accepting your own mortality.
And now I have feels of the Jack/Doctor brotp kind.

There was always something about Chris, something magical and yet it had a dark seriousness to it. Like he had always been the Doctor.
David, at first, was a little dark. Almost mirroring his predecessor. Eventually, you see the love and you find the old man. The old man who loved to be childish.
When I first saw Matt, I couldn’t believe how young he was. After awhile, we saw the playful God for who he was. A daft old man who stole a police box.
And the magic from Chris kept on going.

Fun fact: That was RTD trolling David Tennant. Dave’s Scottish accent means that the “oo” sound he has to make when doing an English accent for the show is very, very hard, so RTD threw that in just to piss him off. Oh, RTD, you troll.
So that would be the equivalent of @steven_moffat adding a load of s’s to his #Sherlock scripts because he knows that Benedict Cumberbatch has a slight lisp (which is lovely btw)

Sherlock and Doctor Who: Here’s The Difference
Here’s the Difference:
The Doctor Who photo features a tall, slender, rather alien genius-boy running alongside a medical professional who is smitten with him.
The Sherlock photo……..Oh. OH.
Yes, but Sherlock has a long coat which billows out behind him when he runs.
The Doctor just ha-
…
Oh.
Never mind.
Yes but Sherlock wears tight fitting suits and is smarter than your average human.
The Doctor’s just—
Riiight….
Yes, but in Doctor Who, the medical companion risks death in an attempt to save the lead character from the clutches of an evil, psychotic genius.
Wheras in Sherlock…. um……. Oh..
Yeah, but the Doctor Who companion jumps on board to help the lead even though she knows almost nothing about him and trusts him to solve their current problem that wasn’t even an issue until he arrived.
While In Sherlock… huh.
Guys guys guys, you’re missing a MAJOR point.
The Doctor cannot simply die - because he regenerates; he cheats death.
Whereas Sherlock, say if he jumped off a buildi— …oh
But Martha has military traini— hmm.
